I absolutely love coffee and have some pots everyday. It is no secret that coffee beans can be very acidic. Because of the cups of coffee I tend to drink I had to think about if all the java was making my stomach problems I have for many years or, at the very least, exacerbating the acid reflux. To try out this hypothesis I went in search of java with low acid. I was only able to find one brand of low acid coffee at my local grocery shop.
I want to give the low acid coffee a try. I have to admit that when it comes to coffee I have become really spoiled. I am used to getting deliciously flavored java as well as sweet creamers to choose. Changing to the low acid coffee was not as hard as I thought it would be but switching to a non-flavored coffee was a bit hard for me.

Amazingly enough, after a week of having only low acid coffee I did notice a few advances with my painful reflux. I was not getting heartburn same before, and when I did, it was not as severe. I realized that my doctor was right and part of my problem came from my own habits. I think that changing your habits is worth it.
Whenever you suffer from any stomach problems and are a heavy java lover as I am, I highly advise to give coffee with low acid shot. Try it at least 7 days and consider if you notice a difference. Because if you do I think that you will make the switch for good.
